Equipment Trailer Rental in Allen, TX
Equipment that is too heavy or too awkward for a light utility deck needs a trailer built for machines. AMD Trailer Rental offers equipment and tilt-deck trailers for Allen customers, subject to availability. Tell us the machine, the approximate weight, and how it loads.
A tilt deck lets many machines drive or winch on without a separate ramp. A flat equipment deck is for loads that sit and strap. We will not put a skid steer on a light utility trailer.
Pickup for Allen equipment rentals
All customer trailer pickup and return is at the McKinney yard: 5168 Baxter Well Rd, McKinney, TX 75071. The yard is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no trailer pickup in Allen. Reserve first, then come to the yard when the job is ready.
Bring a driver license, a way to pay, and insurance proof when that rental asks for it. We check the hitch, lights, and safety chains with you before you leave. Call/text (469) 972-8824 if you are unsure which size fits the tow vehicle.
This is separate from forklift delivery. The forklift comes to the job. The trailer is picked up at the yard.
Match the deck to the machine
Share the weight, the width, and whether the machine can climb a tilt. If it needs a winch, say that before you reserve. Confirm your tow vehicle’s receiver, ball size, and brake controller. Larger equipment trailers often need more truck than a half-ton.
On the road and back
Chain the machine in more than one direction, not only over the top. Check the chains again after the first few miles. Return the deck clear of mud, straps that are not ours, and loose parts.
Questions before you reserve
Where is equipment trailer pickup?
The McKinney yard only: 5168 Baxter Well Rd, McKinney, TX 75071. There is no equipment trailer pickup in Allen.
Can you deliver the machine trailer to Allen?
Trailer customers pick up and return at the yard. If the job needs a forklift delivered to the address, that is a separate rental and we confirm the stop is inside the delivery area.
What should I tell you when I call?
The machine type, approximate weight, the day you need the trailer, and the tow vehicle. That is enough to rule out a deck that is too light.
